Our Mission
The mission of Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic is to gather top talent in the Northern Virginia area to empower and develop strong, confident young athletes while contributing to the growth of the game of lacrosse.
We strive to challenge our athletes to expand upon individual and team skills, knowledge of lacrosse, and passion for the game through comprehensive training and fitness.
Our President
Tracy Wiener-Provenz is a National Recruiting Coordinator, Yellow Jackets President, Lacrosse Sports Network Analyst, American Select Director, a college liaison, Long Island Elite Director, Nike G8 Director, YJ-North and YJ-Rockland in Suffern NY owner, 2021 NCAA Semi-Finals weekend commentary (LSN). Throughout her career, she has coached over 50 High School All-Americans, produced 38 current collegiate players, and 12 collegiate All-Americans.

Director, YJMA
Audrey Love
Coach Love is a Long Island Native and member of the Yellow Jackets Long Island class of 2016. Coach Hoeg played 5 years at William and Mary, serving as team captain for two of them. She played all positions, but proved to be a solid defender by the end of her career. Her role as a director will be overseeing the growth and development of the club, working with coaches, and planning camps and clinics for the club.
Director, Recruiting
Molly O'Brien
Coach Molly is a senior attacker on the Radford University Women's Lacrosse team. She is completing her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and will be returning to Radford for her fifth year of eligibility to complete her masters! She grew up playing for Cardinal Lacrosse and has always been passionate about coaching and recruitment. Coach Molly will managing and overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process for our players, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations, and building relationships with athletes, families, coaches and college representatives.
Goalie Coach
Tina Plaugher
Coach Tina grew up in NoVA and is a proud Chantilly HS alum, where she played both field hockey and lacrosse. Went on to play Division 1 field hockey on a scholarship at Radford University, graduating in 2004. After college, she returned to Chantilly HS as a PE teacher and coach. She’s currently the Head Field Hockey Coach and Head JV Lacrosse Coach at Chantilly. She has been recognized as the Girl’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year and she continues to bring energy, knowledge, and a genuine love of the game to every athlete she works with.
Draw Coach
Lauren Distad
Coach Lauren grew up in Minnesota, where she was a varsity lacrosse player starting in the 8th grade. During HS, she was an all-State senior year, two-time all-section first team, three-time all-conference, and all-conference honorable mention player. She was the team captain during junior and senior years and scored over 200 goals in HS. She went on to play attack at George Mason and holds two all-time program records in the draw and was the Amiee Willard Award winner in 2024. She had 91 draw control wins in her senior year and was named to the VaSID All-Academic Team. Lauren is planning to attend medical school and will continue coaching. She is extremely passionate about the draw, coaching young athletes, and is always excited to work with teams at every age level!

Director, Operations
Linda Kim
Linda grew up in NoVa and is a proud West Springfield HS and James Madison alum. She is a mom to two Yellow Jacket players, a 2030 and 2034 and loves the game of lacrosse. She runs external and internal communications, social media, and administrative tasks within the club.
Director, Finance
Tyler Love
Tyler Love is a native of the Northern Virginia area. Coach Love had an illustrious college wrestling career at The University of Virginia, including a qualification for the National Championship tournament. Coach Love manages all financial aspects of the club.
