Coach Whelan was a D1 lacrosse player at Virginia Tech, playing midfield & attack. She was the 2nd Assistant Coach at Virginia Tech, head varsity high school coach at Herndon High School, Academy of the Holy Cross, National Cathedral School and coached club for Future Elite. Currently she is coaching two club teams for Yellow Jackets Mid Atlantic.

Coach Whelan is the founder and owner of Overtime Athletics, a nationwide youth sports organization. He spent 13 years as a head basketball coach at the high school level and also coached at the collegiate level. In addition, he served as a women’s lacrosse coach in college for three years.

Coach Adam has been a boys and girls youth lacrosse coach since 2014. He has been the Great Falls Lacrosse Commissioner since 2016, and is well versed in Positive Coaching Alliance methods. He has four children actively playing lacrosse today and enjoys playing recreationally in the mens’ masters leagues as a defenseman and midfielder.  Coach Adam played Division 1 lacrosse at Radford University, graduating in 1999 as a four year starter and was selected to the North South All-star game as a senior.
