Welcome to Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic, a premier girls travel lacrosse club located in Northern Virginia. We foster a positive, hard working and fun atmosphere for players of all ages and skill levels to develop a true passion for the game of lacrosse. We offer top-notch coaching, tournaments, clinics, partnerships, recruiting, and elite showcase events.
Our History
Built on a proven tradition of excellence
The Yellow Jackets lacrosse club has a rich history rooted in passion, dedication, and excellence.
Founded 25 years ago by Carol Rose and Tracy Wiener-Provenz, the organization was born on Long Island with a mission to empower young female athletes.
The blue and gold are colors from Carol’s school - Northport High School. The stripes on the uniforms were intended to resemble the stripes on a yellow jacket.

The mission was to give girls an opportunity to be coached by the best coaches in the area, play year round, learn, improve and, ultimately, get recruited to play in college.

6 Week Speed & Agility Series with Surge Elite Lacrosse Academy structured around stick work, dodging, and speed and agility with Kara Mupo, Head Coach, George Mason Lacrosse; Corey Sigler, Director of Strength and Training, George Mason and Olivia O'Brien, George Mason Lacrosse Alumni.
Spirit of YJ Games
All ten of our teams came together for a morning of fun relays, fastest shot and trick shot competitions and parents/coaches vs kids sixies game.
