Meghan Deehan joined the George Mason women's lacrosse coaching staff as the program's defensive coordinator in the summer of 2026. During her tenure at Butler from 2024-26, Deehan oversaw the Bulldogs' goalkeepers and defensive unit. Deehan returns to George Mason after a standout collegiate career with the Patriots from 2022-24. She helped lead the Patriots to the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament, earning 10 victories in goal, tied for the second-most wins in a single season in program history. A native of Milton, Georgia, Deehan earned her bachelor's degree in integrative studies with a concentration in leadership and organizational development from George Mason in 2023 before completing her master's degree in sport management in 2024.

From Radnor, Pennsylvania, and currently live in Arlington, Virginia, where she works as a 2nd Grade teacher in Fairfax County. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in Elementary Education while also being a member of the Women’s Lacrosse team. She has been playing lacrosse since 1st grade and always loved the game. Growing up in Radnor, she was part of a strong lacrosse community and played both soccer and lacrosse throughout high school. As a player, including competing at the collegiate level, has helped develop a strong understanding of the skills, teamwork, and confidence needed to succeed on the field. She loves coaching and helping young players learn, improve, and develop a passion for lacrosse. Her goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where athletes can build their skills, gain confidence, and have fun while learning the game.
