Coach Harper has been playing lacrosse in the has been playing lacrosse in the Washington area for 35 years, coaching in it for 20 years in lacrosse, diving, cheerleading and gymnastics. Kere's lacrosse coaching stems from youth league to Fairfax and Loudoun County high School and travel Cavaliers. Kere was a four year tri-athlete at W.T. Woodson HS competing in Cheerleadingm Diving and Lacrosse ('99 grad), where they captured multiple lacrosse region and state titles, with Kere as the goalie and a two year captain. She is also Head Coach for Lightridge High School.
O'Brien broke GMU school record for most draw controls in a single season with 99. She was a late start to lacrosse but she proves that hard work pays off because she worked her way to a starter. She finished her 5th year playing and starting for GMU. Ranked in the top 25 nationally for draw controls per game and also had 35 goals. Team Captain from 2020-2022 and the Amiee Willard Award in 2021.
Marc has over 20 years of coaching experience. His knowledge and passion for the game is tremendous. Marc's daughter Daniella is an outstanding player for the NOVA/PWC area and is in the HIVE! Marc has incredible offensive and dodging knowledge. His strong coaching presence is invaluable for players who want to learn correct form and advance moves. Marc joined our staff as the 2023 Coach but he supports all offensive players in the HIVE!
Training & Offense Coach
Coach Corky is the founder and wrote the program for RunFit-Kidz ten years ago. This program is built around Educating, Fostering and Promoting the Benefits of Running and Healthy Living to Children. Corky is a positive coach who brings a wealth of knowledge about conditioning, agility training, and the importance of players learning the game. She takes the time to educate players on cutting, spacing, timing, and executing plays. Corky instills the true value of learning the game and players having a strong lacrosse IQ. She is currently the assistant coach for West Springfield and previously coached for Stars and SYA. Corky also has a daughter who is committed to play D1 Lacrosse for Delaware.
All Position Coach
Coach Mike is an assistant coach for Battlefield High School and has coached for over ten years at the rec and HS level. He also has a daughter who plays for Radford University.
Mike Conner is in his first year as the assistant coach on the Champe H.S. girls varsity lacrosse team. Mike has coached girls lacrosse for the last 8 years, with the following programs: STARs, CAVs and the Mid-Atlantic Yellow Jackets. Mike has 4 years of boys lacrosse experience coaching the Freedom H.S. varsity team. He played high school lacrosse at Kings Park High School on Long Island and Division I lacrosse at Radford University. Mike has volunteered for Dulles South Lacrosse youth league and currently is a coach for the Mid- Atlantic Yellow Jackets. Mike has a B.S. in Sports Medicine from Radford University.
Coach Juliette had an OUTSTANDING Fauquier High School Lacrosse Career. She was one of the top players in the area to go on to play D1. She was also named one of the four Captains for Radford's inaugural season. She continued her Captain status all four years and was an impact player. She graduated in 2019 and returned to her hometown, where she assistant coaches for Fauquier High School.
Micky played D1 Lacrosse and graduated from GMU. She is currently Fairfax HS Head Coach and Physical Education teacher. Brings over twenty-five years of teaching and coaching experience in girls lacrosse and diving. Previously coached club lacrosse for SuperNova Lacrosse Club and Capital Lacrosse Club. Micky is the mother to three competitive wrestlers and her husband is Robinson S.S. Head Wrestling Coach. Micky brings years of experience in fostering players development. She knows the dedication and commitment level needed by athletes to compete at a high level.
Araz is a division one defender for GMU. Previously played under Coach Case at Robinson S.S. and was a strong impact player for the Rams in winning three consecutive VA 6A State Championships. Araz is a fantastic role model to all players. She entered HS as a midfielder/Attack but shortly after Coach Case recognized her defense strengths.
Coach Karas is a native Washingtonian who was a dedicated and standout competitive year-round varsity swimmer, basketball, softball and track student athlete for Bishop O'Connell High School- ('93) grad. George Mason University ('97)-Physical Education, with M.Ed. from Marymount University-School Leadership/Administration ('05). Over 20+ years of teaching health and Physical Education at PVI.
Family; married 17 years to John, 2 Children: Daughter-16 Avery and Son-13 Cole.
